I'm sure everyone already heard about the cancellation of Tohoshinki's Bigeast Fanmeeting so I'll just post a little something about it later on.

So 맞짱닷컴 http://www.martzzang.com/ had decided to come up with this .. "battle" to compare whether TVXQ holds more power or Big Bang. Therefore, they compared their album sales using TVXQ's Third Asia Tour in Seoul CD and Big Bang's Big Show Concert CD. They compared the sales that occured on their site from 12/9 - 12/11 to come up with the winner.

Seeing as I'm more on TVXQ's side, obviously I would want our boys to win, but the results were... different from what I expected with sales of 95% to 5%?? I have also seen several media sites with titles similar to "동방신기 KO BIG BANG"

Ah, oh right, there were "points" rewarded for customers who contributed to those sales. (I'm not too sure of the full details)
Now of course we have to have the release dates taken to account here:

Big Bang's Big Show Concert CD was release somewhere in April while TVXQ's Third Asia Concert in Seoul CD was released in.. July?

"그동안 많은 대결이 있었지만 이번처럼 폭발적인 반응은 처음이다. 동방신기와 빅뱅 두 그룹의 엄청난 위력을 직접 확인할 수 있는 의미 있는 대결이었다"
"We've been hosting many of these mini battles before, but results like this are the first and we can fully comprehend the power of TVXQ and Big Bang and their overwhelming popularity."


I don't know whether I should be happy for the victory or angry that this "battle" just ruined the Cassies' plan to boycott SME products LOL. What can I say, you can't have everything you want.

If I were to say that I am completely shocked and surprised, I would be lying. I can't say that there was this 0.1% of me that knew that the fanmeeting was going to be cancelled. Ever since seeing them together on stage again, I had a feeling that if they were to carry on their fanmeetings, it would be .. quite awkward; not just for them, but for all of us fans as well, wouldn' it? As a fan, I would much rather see them settle this issue and then come back on stage with truly genuine smiles and much more relaxed emotions.

Because I believe that's the least they can do for us, right? Rest, feel better, get everything settled, and then come back;



Funny how it's always mostly Cassiopeia that gets linked to TVXQ; but let's not forget....



Bigeast isn't too shabby either; they filled up 55,000 + 55,000 seats for Tokyo dome ;)


Now not to mention us overseas fans as well ! I really want to know the official number of TVXQ fans, I really, really, do.

I hope the boys know how big of a force they have with them, LOL. I would never doubt that TVXQ fans alone could populate a small island and sustain itself XD
 
Just remember we still have NHK Music Japan, Japan Music Station, and NHK Kouhaku to wait for ~
